Why I Love Cooking (And Why I’ll Probably Never Stop)

People often ask me when I first realized I loved cooking. The truth is - it was never just one moment. It’s a feeling that kept showing up again and again, each time a little louder. In the quiet of early mornings as I planned menus. In the late-night grocery runs for the perfect ingredient. In the joy of watching someone take that first bite and close their eyes with a smile.

Cooking isn’t just what I do - it’s who I am.

Before I became a private chef, I was the one in the friend group who always offered to host, who showed up with food instead of flowers, who felt more at home in the kitchen than anywhere else. There’s something about creating a meal for someone that feels personal, intentional. It’s an act of care, of paying attention.

This passion became my profession not because I needed a job, but because I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I love the entire process - from designing menus that reflect the season or your story, to sourcing the best ingredients, to plating a dish that makes people pause and feel something. Cooking is my creative outlet, my way of connecting with people, and honestly, my therapy.

What I offer as a private chef isn’t just food - it’s an experience. One that’s rooted in my love for this craft and my belief that food brings people together in a way nothing else really can. Every dish I serve carries a piece of me in it - my energy, my care, my obsession with flavor and detail. And nothing makes me happier than sharing that with others.

This isn't just a career. It's my calling.

So whether I’m making an elegant dinner for two, catering a special celebration, or simply experimenting in the kitchen on a quiet afternoon, know this: I’m always cooking with heart.

Thanks for being here. I can’t wait to cook for you.
