The Masters in Augusta ‘24
Attending The Masters was one of those surreal, bucket-list experiences that somehow lived up to every bit of the hype. The moment you step onto the grounds at Augusta National, it’s like entering golf heaven - perfectly cut grass, no phones in sight, and a kind of hush that feels almost sacred. I went with zero expectations and left fully obsessed. Between following Tiger around like a giddy fan, watching Scheffler dominate, and spending way too much money in the merch tent (worth it), it was unforgettable. And yes, the food is as cheap and amazing as everyone says - pimento cheese, cold beer, and souvenir cups I will now hoard forever.
The Dolomites
The Italian Dolomites are the perfect blend of breathtaking scenery and pure relaxation. Imagine spending your days soaking in the mountain views, and your evenings unwinding in a cozy spa, letting the stress of everyday life melt away. The air is crisp and fresh, and the charm of the alpine villages adds to the peaceful escape. Between spa treatments, you’re exploring local shops that seem to have it all — hand-crafted leather goods, cozy wool sweaters, and just the right amount of rustic charm. You’re not in a rush to see it all; you’re here to savor each moment, whether that’s enjoying a quiet cappuccino at a mountain café, indulging in a little shopping, or simply taking in the beauty that surrounds you. The Dolomites aren't just about adventure — they’re about slowing down, treating yourself, and enjoying the slower pace of life in one of the most stunning places on earth.
Lake Bormio
Lake Bormio wasn’t a grand destination - just a little hike that turned into a big exhale. Tucked between the mountains, it felt like a quiet pause in the middle of a fast-moving trip. The kind of place where you forget your to-do list and just exist for a minute. Peaceful, crisp, and somehow exactly what I didn’t know I needed.
Michigan Summer ‘24
There’s nothing quite like a Michigan summer. It hits you like a wave — one minute, you're pulling on your flip-flops, and the next, you’re barefoot on a dock with a cold beer in hand, wondering how the lake always manages to feel this perfect. The air smells like sunscreen, charcoal, and maybe a little bit of nostalgia, while the days stretch out forever like they’re showing off. Small towns come to life with festivals, farmers markets, and an undeniable craving for fried food you didn’t know you had. Bar patios fill up, and everyone’s figuring out if it’s the right night for a bonfire (spoiler: it always is). It’s simple, chaotic, and endlessly charming. Honestly, Michigan summers have this magic that makes you forget what day it is, but in the best way. Beer in hand, feet in the grass, and absolutely no idea where the time went — but who cares?
